Player Cards
Each player displays their name, team, current price, and recent form. At a glance, you know exactly what you're working with.
Change Highlighting
Players you've swapped in are highlighted differently from your original squad. Instantly see which positions you've changed and which remain untouched.
Click to Replace
Click any player on the pitch to open the player picker. No complicated menus—just tap the player you want to replace and browse alternatives.
Real-Time Budget Tracking
The budget bar at the top shows your financial position at all times:
Starting Budget
Your total available funds: current squad value plus bank. This is the ceiling for your wildcard squad's total cost.
Current Budget
Updates live as you make changes. Swap in a more expensive player and watch the budget shrink. Find a cheaper alternative and see funds free up for other positions.
Visual Progress Bar
The budget bar fills as you spend. Green means you're within budget; red means you've overspent and need to make adjustments before your wildcard is valid.
Smart Player Picker
When you click a player to replace them, the picker modal opens with intelligent filtering:
Position Locked
Click a defender, see only defenders. Click a forward, see only forwards. No wading through irrelevant positions.
Budget Filtered
Only players you can actually afford are shown. If you have £7.5m remaining, you won't see £8.0m players cluttering the list.
Form & Price Display
Each player shows current price, form rating, total points, and upcoming fixtures. All the info you need to make a decision without leaving the picker.
Search & Sort
Search by player name or sort by price, form, or points. Find exactly who you're looking for in seconds.
Automatic Rule Validation
The validation panel checks your squad against all FPL rules in real-time:
Squad Size
Must have exactly 15 players: 2 GK, 5 DEF, 5 MID, 3 FWD. The validator shows if you're missing anyone.
Club Limit
Maximum 3 players from any single club. If you try to add a 4th Arsenal player, the validator flags it immediately.
Budget Check
Total squad cost must not exceed your starting budget. Overspend and you'll see a red error until you downgrade somewhere.
Green = Valid
When all rules pass, the validation panel shows green. Your wildcard squad is legal and ready to be transferred in.
Save Multiple Drafts

All users can save one wildcard draft. Build your squad, save it, and come back later to review or adjust before activating.
Pro: 3 Draft Slots
Pro users can save up to 3 different configurations. Compare a premium-heavy squad vs a balanced squad vs a differential punt. See which you prefer before committing.
Load & Edit
Click any saved draft to load it. Make further tweaks, save again, or delete and start fresh. Your drafts persist until you decide to remove them.
Changes Summary
The Changes panel shows a clear list of all your modifications:
Out: Players leaving your squad, with their selling price.
In: Players entering your squad, with their purchase price.
Net Change: See exactly how each swap affects your budget. Quick reference before finalizing.

Pre-Wildcard Planning
Days before you activate, use the planner to experiment. Try different structures, compare drafts, and arrive at deadline day with a clear plan.
Fixture Swing Preparation
Big fixture swing coming? Build a squad targeting teams with favorable runs. The planner helps you restructure efficiently.
Post-Free Hit Reset
After a Free Hit, you return to your previous squad. If that squad needs work, the planner shows it automatically and helps you plan the next evolution.
Template vs Differential
Save a "safe template" draft and a "differential punt" draft. Compare them side-by-side. Choose based on your mini-league position and risk appetite.
